Pullin the trigger on a FLT Trans
Well, nothin to exciting but tomorrow im ordering my FLT Trans. I spoke with Vince about two weeks ago and just like everyone says...The customer servive was fantastic! Vince took the time to answer all of my questions and point me in the right direction. I've been researching alot and I feel very confident with my decision. I will post back up when it gets here and installed and let ya guys know more on my experience. It"ll be sooo nice not to be bangin off the rev limiter on every 2-3 shift at the track anymore! Lol

I decided to go with the Level 3. My tranny now is stock and to tell ya the truth, I cant belive it lasted this long!! 116,000 miles, A TR230 cam, and SS3600 and now a Torquer 2 and Stage 2.5 LS6's and it just now started to slip. The car has gone 11.88@ 116 and god only knows how long this tranny has been slippin for. At the end of last years racing season I was battlin the dreaded 2-3 Rev Limiter shift so I knew it was time. Tried orderin the tranny today and Vince PM'd me lettin me know that they might not be there today Oh well, Monday cant come soon enough!!

Joker for a little extra money I would probably look at the level 4 unit. It is designed for head and cam vehicles. The difference in the two units is a FLT sleeved input drum with billet over run piston, bearing style FLT beast sunshell, and a HD 2-3 shift valve. This valve will allow the over run clutches to be applied in the D3 position for all 1st-3rd gears. For the money and for what you get in my opinion it is a no brainer! Get the level 4. You'll be happy you did. Vince
