Only Rev, 1st & 2nd gear in 4l60E I suddenly lost 3th, 4th and overdrive in my 4L60E transmission in a 93 GMC pickup as I pulled onto the interstate highway. 246,000 miles on transmission. Any suggestions as to what to check? 2nd gear and Rev works well. 4500 RPM at 60 MPH and still gets 10 MPG. I only averaged 12 MPG when transmission was working. Thanks.

if you have 1st and 2nd then there is an issue in the 3-4 pack either its worn, piston seal leaking, snap ring, drum broke, sorry but looks like you will be geting it rebuilt hey you got a 1/4 million miles though out of it be happy
