Default truck 4l60e vs fbody 4l60e

Is the truck 4l60e different than the fbody 4l60e? I recently had a local guy build a transmission for me and he used a core 4l60e from a 5.3 truck. Thinking that as long as the bellhousing is for an ls engine, I thought it would work just fine for my build. But now I am thinking what about the torque arm? This transmission is going in an 89 Camaro. Are the truck transmissions the same as the car transmissions? If not, can I just get a tail shaft from a car 4l60e and call it a day? Can I use the 700r4 tail shaft?

Thanks

I'll post basically what I posted a few days ago.
If you have a 4L60E with a 6 bolt tail housing you need a 6 bolt f body tail housing with a torque arm mount. A 700 tail housing won't work.
