LS3/4l60 flexplate questions

LS3/4l60 flexplate questions There certainly is a lot of info on the web about flywheels,some good some, well you know. I have an LS3 376/480 crate motor settin my Chevelle and a PerformaBuilt 4l60. I went to the local Chevrolet dealer and bought flexplate #12602448. The 2 of the holes that line up with my torque convertor are too large the other is slotted. Question 1. What flexplate is the correct one? 2. Do I need to space the torque convertor or not, I have read both yes and no. I have read on this site for years and have, and really enjoyed it. Thanks in advance for the help.
