4000ss Problem
So my Yank 4000ss locks up about 5 seconds into 3rd gear and doesnt unlock .. If i tap the brakes, it does unlock but only for a split second then locks right back up...
I noticed it at the track this past week, It was only allowing me to run 12.0 @ 114. Then on the street. So i took it to the tuner, The tune is right on, its still set to stay unlocked in 3rd gear. So what gives? Is the converter toast ?

I'm having a similar problem with mine. It feels like it is clunking when coming out of lock up but once I apply the brakes it stops. No clue myself why it is doing this either I just got my Converter restalled from an ss4000 to a ss3600 600 miles ago aswell as the tranny refreshed so this is throwing me for a loop... I'm gonna check my converter bolts to see if they backed off any but other than that I don't know else to look for...

My itty bitty stall has done that from like day one, over 40,000 miles ago.
I may be wrong, but I think thats part of having a stall.
Most people that ride with me never even notice.
