Default 4l60e marks?

I have a 97 4l60e LT1 style transmission and it has a big 2 painted on the side of the case. in orange i think?? does this mean anything to anyone....

Well new information. not about the marks but the separator plate. Apparently the separator plate had a check ball stuck in it. IDK if that made it not shift into 3/4 but IDK if it can be fixed.

I was wondering if the TransGo plates are any good? better than GM?

The trans go plates are a good replacement for the factory plates. And yes, a plate with a check ball stuck in the feed hole will cause extremely poor shift quality... if it doesn't smoke the clutches or band before it actually completes the shift.
