Default where do i tap in for my gauges?

I have a trans temp and a line press gauge I want to install on my trans. Both are mech gauges. Im pretty sure the temp just goes to the pan but what about line pressure? Where do I tap in for that one?

You can put your temp gauge in the pan, that will give you the average temp, the hottest temp readings are gonna come from your pressure line going to the cooler, You can tap into the pressure port to get the pressure reading, that is the easiest access,. Hope this helps.
