Default Removing factory shifter arm..

Got a new shifter and I'm going to remove the factory shift arm to get it together. I've never done this before, it looks like its just a big bolt holding it in place. I assume just put the car in park and loosen the bolt??? Sorry if it's a stupid question but I've gotta get this thing done in a hurry and I foot know exactly what I'm doing..

The linkage arm is just a 15mm nut. Makes sure to have the vehicle in the air or just make sure to block the tires and please use jack stands!
