4l60e pump swap old vs new??
Ok here's the deal I'm upgrading to a 4l80e I have a 4l60e in my chevelle with a nice stall and a bunch of aftermarket parts that I'm going to swap to my 98 4l60e in my blazer swap.
Is it possible to use the input shaft and drum and pump from my 94 and use it on my 98 trans so I can use the stall converter?

One of the experienced trans builders will have to answer this, but I'll take a shot.
I think it "physically" should work and fit.
However, the '98 has a PWM TCC valve and the '94 parts will not be setup for that. The solution is to disable the PWM TCC in the valve body with a different TCC valve and (perhaps) with either a '94 separator plate or mods to your '98 separator plate. I don't know the details, but I see references to them and believe both Sonnax and Trangso make the "retrofit" non-PWM TCC valve.
Hopefully a more experienced person can confirm and/or correct this.
