I am wanting to try and put an 4l80e in my 96 camaro with an lt1 and stock 10 bolt this was already an a4 car so how will I get the driveshaft to work and what else is needed for the swap. Trying to do this on a small small budget

You will need a crossmember, yoke swap, conversion harness, converter, tuning changes, and some mods to the cooler lines, etc.

Is swapping to the 80e worth the trouble. I am only making around 550 rwhp

The 4L80E will be more reliable long term than a 4L60e at that power level. The 4L60E will work but it will be a maintenance item.
