Default Converter swap, 3200 to a 4K, whats it worth ET wise

I am currently running a 3200 stall converter that has worked great in the car, a huge improvement over stock. It was proably a very good choice for the car when it was driven on the street regularly. However now this car is driven on the street only for short trips around town, and mostly just between my house and the local track. It currently has 3.23 gears and a 227/235 cam. I have thought about going to 4.10 gears, and/or a 4K converter. I'm running 295/55/15 MT drag radials, so the 28" tire is increasing my gearing too. Which one would give me more bang? I was thinking the converter. Has anyone out there made a similar swap, and what type of ET/MPH improvement can be expected?

it would be more benificial to install the gear set over the converter. the 28" tire is costing you ET with 3.23 gears. 4.10 would be a better choice but might also cost you a mph or so. have you though about a 26" tire and 3.73 ?

28" tires, 4.10 gearing, and 4000 stall converter is a great combo,imo.
