For reference the truck in the right lane ran a 7.80@94mph and by the time my buddy clicked the video off he hadn't even crossed the stripe yet

I think I broke his neck when the lights dropped, don't think he was expecting me to leave so quickly and right off the light like that.

315 street tires! The grin that will be on my face when the car breaks loose from a roll will be priceless!

My last car(76gts turbo car) had a 3800 FTI stall in it.

Although a lot different than your new 3800 it was extremely drivable and did exactly what I asked of it.

Awesome! Yea I'm really excited for it. I drive a lot, 95% highway. Should I do a gear change? I have 3.23s currently.

I wouldn't do a gear change until you have an aftermarket camshaft.

Really no need, but it would wake the car up even more.

Drive it with the new stall first and see what you think.

Greg makes some nasty converters. I got the 86 3600 stall with 1.78 str I do more street than track.love it flat out deadly from a roll. Still frys the tires from 20 mph rolls.

I just picked up a circle d 5c per Chris' recommendation, I'm looking forward to getting it and getting my car tuned for it and the new set up. I haven't read this whole thread, but op shoot them an email or give them a call, Chris was helpful when I was trying to match a converter to my set up.

If you're buying the converter used, and this is for any converter, it is usually a good idea to have it cut/cleaned. Most prices for this service are in the $100-$200 range. It will make sure the converter is freshened up for you. It's not always necessary but it takes one of the what-if's out of the equation.

Pretty sure. It's "69ta". At first I was sceptical, because I always am with anything online, but I did my research and he's a top notch seller with many satisfied buyers.

I have a Yank ss3600 and I love it. I had 2.73's and I swapped em for 3.73's...a bit of a no brainer, I wanted to setup everything for a cam. You'll probably be alright with the 3.23's until you get a cam and you will want a good rear tire because they'll be spinnin' like mad.
