Default Is this a 4l80e?

I'm not familiar with 4l80e's. bought what i thought was one a while ago and got to looking at it tonight (will be installing soon) and it says hydromatic on the side, so was curious if this is even a 4l80e? Or is it a th400

Also there is a large square **** sticking out on the driver side of the tranny. I'd assume i need to cut this off to install this thing in a f-body? I circled it in red.

Default 4l80e

It was probably out of a van that **** was for the linkage. Yes it is definitely a 4L80E.

Thank You,

Thank you for the help.

Here is my second question. I was looking at it yesterday and i see the two trans cooler lines which i circled in red in the pic below. Which is the supply line and which is the return? I think I am going to make it run to the stock cooler than out to a plate/fin cooler, then back to the tranny. Also are these fittings a certain thread type?

Secondly, what is the object i circled in yellow? There is a plug in it now, I'm guessing that is where the dip stick goes?

Fluid flows out of the bottom line and goes back into the top line. The thread on the fitting is 5/16" inverted flare (stock it was, looks like those might be later model quik connects.) The plug circled in yellow if the dipstick hole.
