broke my shifter cable In the removeal of my 4l60e my shifter cable got snagged and broke. I found the part numberfor a new one how do i replace the shifter cable? Can i do it from the bottom or do i have to remove the center console? Or if there is a how to that i missed somewhere. Thanks

You will definitely have to remove the console, ..., or at least lift it a bit to get under it.
But it's fairly easy & there are some instruction around here or other sites on the web.

Are ya sure it didn't just come unhooked somewhere, either below on the transmission, or the shfter?
