Default Converter question (adapter)

I know that you can buy a spacer ring to run a old school converter on a late model motor (ls motor), my question is we are putting a 4l65 in a street rod and was wondering if they make a spacer or ring or something to mate a late model LS converter to a early model small block without having to custom build a converter?

The problem is the pilot on the LS style 4L60/65/70 converter is to long and will bottom out in the crank before the converter pads hit the flexplate. You can check and see if your crank has room for the longer LS pilot. They are the same OD, so you are good there. But you will probably need a custom built converter.
