What will it take to install a 4L60E in my Oldsmobile cutlass 350 olds engine and what extra will I Need.

First an older style "LT1" 4L60E with a 298mm input shaft should be easier to adapt than the newer "LS" style with 300mm input shaft. This thread shows the pictures of the different input shafts:

The biggie is that you need an electronic controller which costs $500-$800.

You would likely find a 700R4 easier to install as no controller is needed and it should bolt right up. Others prefer the 200R4.

You're going to need some kind of adapter for the BOP bolt pattern.

Yes! Wow, I forgot that the BOP bolt pattern is different from Chevy.
