Default What tires to run with TH400 and 3.73 gears?

Right now my car is a 00'SS with a 402 stroker and a th400 with a trans brake and a 3500 tight nitrous converter, i have not yet used the brake or nitrous, my car is making around 500 whp. I am currently running skinnies on the front and hoosier qtp 15-28-11.5 on the back, my question is are these tires too big for my set up? it seems like it is slower out of the hole i can't any better than a high 1.7 60ft. my car is almost full weight.

Sounds like the converter is really tight. For what it's worth my car has 60ft the same with a 275/50 (26" tall) as it did with a 325/50 (28" tall).

Is it hooking and bogging or spinning?

It really doesn't seem like its spinning, it just feels slower from the start, i had the converter built for my set up, maybe once i use the trans brake it will wake things up a little.
