I picked up a complete drivetrain, 5.3L w/4L60e to swap in my 95 camaro. I'm just wondering if the my original driveshaft will work. Also, will the f-body shifter cable work with the truck trans. I'm not worried about the torque arm, I got a relocation cross member on order.

You will have to change the shift shaft within the transmission to be a direct fit for your linkage.. the truck shafts are longer to accomodate for an external park/neutral switch. fbody shafts are short. pretty easy replacement. The driveshaft should work depending on where the motor is mounted. If the factory motor mount locations are used for the 5.3 you shouldn't have any problems.
