New GM flexplate revision #12850709
This week I ordered a new flexplate from SDPC and they said there is a new part # to replace the 01-02 part #. It apparently hasn't hit all of the dealers yet as my local dealers are still calling out the older #. This flexplate is designated as an Hummer 2 2005 flexplate. I installed it today along with my Yank SS3600.

I'm not sure I like the looks of this one any better
than the '98-'00 one. It looks like the embossing
would make the outer ring stiffer, but there is no
more "meat" at the thinnest than before - to my
eye, still less than the early models:
