Default 4l60e 3/4 clutches

I have a 4l60e in my 01 scsb. I've had it rebuilt 2 times so far. Its very 1500 miles or less I have to have him rebuild it. I have a kinda small trans cooler.I have it going through the radiator then the trans cooler then to the trans. I do have a 3600 stall. I dont know why it keeps burning them

How much power?

The 3600 stall will make some heat and you must have good cooling but you may be OK with what you have. The only way to know is to see what temps it's running at. You can use a scanner to do this.

You need to use a shop that is familiar with building these for performance use. Most are not.

The truck only makes 325/321. What is a safe operating temperature?

A mild build should work. Just a good sun shell, alum accumulators, and VB mods.

Keep it under 200*.

Sounds like you have a leak in the 3/4 clutch circuit.
See my post #3 for where to check for leaks:

Also see my post #3 for more suggestions on the 3/4 clutch:

How muxh is it to build something. ike that. I will be hitting it with a 100 shot soon not untill I get this tranny issue solved.

If I can dind something in my price range then ill just go with someone who know what they are doing im sick of pulling the trans out every 1000-1500 miles for the same damn thing
