Thats with a 12 bolt though. Remember, any rear end you put in your car will make it more reliable but slow it down at least a tad. Regardless, its a strong runner and thats what makes these cars so great. Pretty cheap, pretty light, easy to make go pretty dang fast.
Your 60's are looking pretty good. I know, the 10 bolt...I barely track the car so i'v made no plans to upgrade yet. I know a upgrade will slow it down too so maybe that's one reason I don't care. 10 bolts are so damn cheap maybe ill just buy another one lol
You're right, these cars are great cant beat the platform. Im always trying to steer inquisitive minds to get one

Love my FTI-3800...It's a Great balance between efficiency, how hard it hits, and how it drives.

I have the CircleD 2E... if you tune your trans, it'll drive pretty much like stock. Seriously.

If you have a super loud exhaust, you'll notice any stall. But I can keep up with traffic with it around 2500 rpm. More throttle just makes it jump to 4k and accelerate faster (like a CVT as it'll stay at the stall speed as my trans shifts). Even more throttle and it'll jump past the stall speed and take off.

Call Chris Seahorn at Circle D. Tell him your mods, weight of the car, gear ratio, and planned future mods as well as expected street manners and et goals and he will get you fixed up. IMO he is the best in the business.
