Hey guys new to the forum. I know it don't have an ls1 but it's the same trans any help would be appreciated. I have a 2004 Silverado 4x4 with the 4l60 trans yesterday I installed the transgo sk4l60 shift kit all went well I assumed. It goes through all the forward gears great but in reverse it shudders/slips when u accelerate. Any ideas on what I did wrong. I had the valve body down drilled the seperator plate and installed the springs that met my trans codes and installed the transgo .500 boost valve. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated thank you in advance.

After posting I realized I left out some info the trans was operating perfectly before and the truck only has 74000 miles on it. I only installed the kit to help get rid of the sluggish shifts the trans had it and help it pop into hear a little better rather than slide in. Thank you again

Probably left the 3 bolts loose on the support plate at the rear of the valve body.

Thanks for the help I was racking my brain all night hardly sleep and rocket remember if I had tightened them. After removal of the pan I seen each one was about a turn loose rite where I left them. Lesson learned

Yes I did it was the 3 bolts with the support plate at the back of the valve body.
