Default how to tell if my converter too loose?

Is there a rule of thumb I can go by? My slip is about 490 rpm by 6700rpms which is about 7 percent.

I can provide any information that would be helpful.

7 percent of slip of pretty good. you want to be between 6-8% on the long track.

Well the percentage changes depending on rpm, like at the 2-3 shift its more like 18% then tightens up as Rpms increase.

Probably the best thing to do to get more in depth in discussing slip percentages and your setup would be to call and speak with one of our converter specialist.

yes I am, here is my log.

I didn't log slip at the track so I don't have anything from a dig but it does flash to about 4200-4300 rpm. Remember I'm running a 4L80e

I appreciate that sir and I will be call you. Let me know what you think about the log file.

The car before fast 102 setup ran 11.92@113 w/1.69 60ft and I estimate 11.8X@114-115 with converter locked from 92mph-115mph
