Default How do I remove this plug pin?

So as I was removing my transfer case (1998 Suburban 1500) I noticed a wire was broken. I don't have enough length to solder it back together, so I have to remove the pin from the plug, solder it, and re-insert it. I just don't know how the pin comes out. How do you remove it?

Also, how do I remove the torque convert bolts? I've read that the starter hole gives you enough room to access them. But on my suburban I can only see the teeth through the hole, the torque converter bolts are a little farther in. The black flex plate dust shield thing is held on by 2 bolts which I removed but it cannot be removed because of 2 braces that bolt up way up near the exhaust manifold that I don't know if I can reach.
