Default Oil Pan Magnets

I have a 4L60 (700R4) that was a mess inside that I am assuming is clutch material all throughout the transmission. Since I have taken so much time and and put in so much effort into this rebuild, I would like to try something better to keep the "mud" (assuming clutch material) in the pan.

Is the clutch material magnetic so that a better magnet would actually magnetize to the magnet? I found this , but would like to get some ideas from anyone that has already researched this.

Appreciate any input.

Friction Material is not magnetic, The magnet in the pan is to catch what the planetaries shed.

A healthy 700R4/4L60/4L60E will not shed much friction material anyway.

I thought the $7 for an ACDelco magnet was crazy expensive. You can buy square foot sheets of magnet for a few dollars, which is plenty for a dozen transmissions and plenty left over. You just cut the thick sheets with scissors. Some even come with adhesive if you have an aluminum pan.
