Default 1971 TH350 Leak

I've got a leak in the front of my transmission coming from my inspection cover. I just dropped the transmission and replaced the front seal and pump gasket thinking it was either one of those causing the problem. After replacing them and putting the transmission back into place the leak still came back. Does anyone know what the problem could be and how to fix it?

Possible crack in the converter?

BTW - You might find the nastyz28.com forum more useful for questions about the TH350 and anything related to a '71 Pontiac.

Are sure it was the trans and not an engine rear seal? Did you replace the seals on the pump bolts.
Clean everything real good, then try and determine 100% its from the pump area
Did you replace the pump bushing when you replaced the seal? 350's like new bushings, lol

It could be from the converter not being seated on the transmission all the way you're supposed to hear three "clunks"
