Default New 4l80e banjo fittings

Got them Friday.
The fit very good. The short one was a little longer then stock but still seated.
One step closer!

I have a set of the fittings sitting around, I found if you can align the hole in the stud with the hole in the fitting its less restrictive-how much diff not sure, but I thought of trying to find diff thickness washers to try and line it up-but, could be a non issue though.

I was thinking the same thing. I'll put black marker on the flat spot on the bolt head and that would tell me where the hole is in relation to the fitting end.

Since this thread is the sequel (hopefully only one) to the OP's original thread, I closed the original one:

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, but do these banjo fittings seal well with the metal washers that are provided? I've used straight Russel AN fittings on my 4l60e and did buy the same fittings for my 97+ 4l80e (which I found out do not fit)and both had an O ring on the case side. Just got my banjo style today and noticed only metal washers. Didn't want to waste trans fluid due to a leak.b Thanks.

There really should be an o ring on the case side.
But, the threads are NPS...put a TINY bit of pipe dope on them and they should seal just fine

I would use the washers as the oring would crush and also let also let it go to far into the rear of the trans.
I used them (washers) with no issues.
