Default shifting into OD too soon

My tranny is shifting into OD way to soon under normal acceleration. Ive got it programmed (under any throttle position) to never shift in OD below 40MPH... but it does it anyways. WOT it is fine.

What would cause this and how can it be fixed. Thanks

You sure this is not TCC lockup rather than OD upshift?

With a stall like 3200, especially in a Vig, lockup will feel like another gear under light throttle. The converter should lock at 35-40mph under light driving. With my Yank SS3600, converter lockup at 40mph drops RPM's considerably. It's almost like a 5 speed

It was torque converter locking!! Got it fixed and the car drives like a dream now... just need to get some traction and see what she'll do!!
