After reading a few threads I saw...I think they are rating it at the input shaft(?) after the converter...so divide by the tq multiplication and get the real reading...something like 350ft-lbs or so. Standard 4L65E.

Just look at the spec by the (M32) not (M30). The new trans is a 4L65E (M32). The old trans is the 4L60E (M30). The new trans is also found in the Silverado SS behind the 6.0L.
