Default TH-350 Question

I am about to put a th-350 in my daily driver. My friend has one with a shift kit and 3500 B&M converter, but it has the kickdown cable in it. If I buy this trans, how do I remove the kickdown cable?

Don't hook it up if you do not want it to kickdown. Now you will have to bring the lever back for it to downshift.

Just build the TH350 with full manual valve, so its manual up and downshifting.
No need for kickdown cables, no PCM problems etc.
