Default 4l80e install?

Does anyone have a ball park idea on how much the installation would be to swap out a 4l60e for a 4l80e in my 2000 silverado?

Nova- the 4l80e is much stronger than the 4l60e....and Dutch, was it 3k just for installation or was it for the tranny+installation...im guessing it was for the tranny+installation but just want to be sure

That $3k in is for : buying tranny and having it "freshened", converter, custom crossmember, B&M shifter, and driveshaft modification. Labor was provided by me

also think about......if your 4l60 is not blown yet, it can be sold to help pay for the swap.......I sold my 4l60 and TC for $1200(to a friend, to help him out) so you can subtract that from the total to see what i "actually" have in the swap........ however, add in the $1000 for a new 5 disc Vig converter cause the first one was WAY to loose for the spray, and I am reight back at 3K again....

One thing to note, this swap is NOT a difficult as everyone makes it out to be, and the '80 is definetely a hell of alot stronger..... makes it worth it to me
