Just wondering if there was any difference in the converter clutch and TCC regulator valve between the two OBD systems.

The 4L60-E went to PWM on the TCC in early 1995. The front of the pump (behind the torque converter) will have PWM cast into the body. Most parts will not interchange between the PWM and earlier non-PWM units.
