Default strange noises when shifting...

i have a 2000 camaro ss, and i notice a strange noise coming from the transmission when i shift. for example when going from park to reverse, you hear a small series of clicks, maybe about 3 or 4. again when going from reverse to drive, low 1 or 2, same little clicks. it also makes the clicking noises under medium to heavy acceleration, when the car shifts gears. what is this? as far i can tell i dont feel any power loss, the car runs flawlessly. this small noise is just aggrevating me

Is it like a little "tink" noise. If so it's the drive shaft. Almost all of them do it when sitting still shifting into a gear. It won't hurt anything.

its more of a series of tinks, and it does it while sitting and shifing into gear, as well as shifting when not sitting. under medium to heavy acceleration it does it at every shift.
