Where is everyone mounting there tranny dip sticks, I am not sure if summit sent me the wrong one but mine is flexable but short as hell. I was just curious if this is right and where everyone is mounting there's? Pictures would help to if anyone has any..Thanks for you help in advance..Jim

 

if you got the Lokar Flexable one then you need to have the 36" long one.

I have a Lokar..But i think they sent the wrong one, it dont look 36" long, That should reach the firewall correct? Is that where everyone else is mounting them?

 

i have mine mounted on the firewall cause when i ordered mine from summit i told them that i wanted a trans dipstick but firewall mount and they should send you the right one

 

part number you want is: TD3350-400-FM-36

I called them and they sent the wrong one, they sent the tranny mount version not the fire wall mount. What a pain in the *** the tranny mount version would have been..LOL of well lesson learned..Thanks for the fast response's..Jim
