Default Dyno Graph

Just had my car tuned today at Speed Inc. They did a great job. The transmission shifts 10 times better than it did before the tune. Here is the dyno graph. Sorry the picture isn't very good, but the car dynoed at 329.86 RWHP and 341.56 RWTQ. I can't wait to get back to the track on friday and run some better times (hopefully 12s) with the car running great.

Nice how much was it for the tune? How long did you wait till they took care of you?

The car dynoed at 290RWHP and 310RWTQ before the headers and torque converter went on and the new numbers are w/ the Pacesetter headers and SS3600 Yank converter. The "basic tune" was $150 plus $90 for 2 pulls on the dyno. If you want your car dyno tuned then it's like $450, but they told me they usually only do that to cam/forced induction cars because bolt on cars don't see any gain from a dyno tune unless you really advance the timing and they won't do that. When you leave there your car isn't going to blow up or ping. Speed Inc. does a great job. I had a tranny cooler and the basic tune done and it took them like 2 hours. It wasn't bad, I just looked at all the cars in the back parking lot while I waited and watched them work on my car from the back door. It was awesome to hear the car on the dyno, especially once they put the new software into the computer you could hear the difference in the response of the car.

Did you call them and ask them to put you on a waiting list or something? Or did you just show up? $150 and $90 for two pulls is not bad at all. I might do that! Get back to me.

I called a head of time and set up an appointment. There is not a huge waiting list either. I called on a Tues. or Wed. and set the appointment up for the following week. Make sure to ask for Larry and tell him TJ Swanson talked to you on ls1tech and that I highly recommended them. He might give you some money off since you are a referral. Let me know how it goes.
