NE1 want to decipher a TCC HPT Log?
I believe the TCC just **** the bed, I'll post up the Excel later, but basically the TCC acted like it got too hot, swelled and would stall the car out at idle. Let it cool off for a couple hours was able to limp it home, but you can feel the TCC getting stupid in the trans, logs showed 80% slip on average, with it heavy load went to like 1590%, I'm quite sure thats not normal, although not too keen on all the readouts and what they mean. It seems to me that the clutch cannot slip more
than 100%.
The clutch on my TCI got even softer (holding)
when fluid got overheated. Excess trans heat
will push the radiator temp up and clutch slip
while engaged is a big heat maker, and you're
possibly into a "death spiral" but I suspect the
clutch is not actually engaging, just the engine
being over-hot might be enough to fubar your
idle. What did you see for trans temp and coolant
temp while this was all going on?

Coolant temp was normal 190* or so, and trans temp logged as soon as this happened was 223* or so.
Plan now is to pull the TC, throw in a stocker for diagnostic checking of the trans, scared to change fluid now. The fluid smells like its burnt, and looks brownish, but afraid with new fluid and filter it'll start slipping right off the bat. Get the TC checked and replaced, then swap out to a TH400 most likely, Larry is wanting to race this car and drive it, without issues like this. I dont think his cooler was working to well, combined with the high humidity and heat this last month...damn it.
