Default Converter Bolts

Hey guys, I need some quick help. I feel like this is a dumb question but here goes. I'll be intalling a TCI 4400 stall in a buddy of mines car, am I going to need new converter bolts for the install? Also, I see thunder Racing has 2 types: 3 piece and 6 piece, I don't know of the difference.

I've put in a Fuddle 3800 street converter in his before and reused the stockers not even thinking about it. But my buddy mentions it and I felt pretty dumb considering the thought of new bolts never crossed my mind. His cars got (I think) about 60k on it.

Thanks for any help.

I have two tci streetfighters. Same part numbers, different manufacturing year.
The old one uses the factory metric bolts, the newer one uses 7/16 fine thread.
I got some grade bolts from the hardware store and used them.

You need to be more concerned with getting the proper thread. Seems every converter company uses different bolts.
Three piece would be for converters that use three bolts, same for the six piece-six bolts.

IMO converter bolts if installed properly will last a million miles, literally, like if you used the same bolts for every vehicle you ever owned.
