Anyone using Vig converters anymore?
Hello, it's been a while since I have posted on here since selling my 01 SS a couple of years ago , but I now have recently purchased a 02 SS and have got the mod bug. I had a Vig 3200 in my 01 and never had any issues and ran what I thought were pretty good times for the small amount of mods that were done to the car. It now seems everyone is going with either Yank or Fuddle, but I know how the Vig preformed so I am kinda on the fence of whether or not to go back with the Vig or try Yank or Fuddle. Just wanted to get some input from you guys. For what it's worth my 01 with these mods Vig 3200, Whisper lid, Hpp3, de-screened maf and FRA went a best of 12.18@111mph on 1.64 60ft on BFG drag radials

ive got one. im experiencing some vibrations and am narrowing it down to the area of the converter. i read a post where someone said the vig.'s were known to occasionally do that.
yeah it seems like a lot of guys are to quick to suggest yank and fuddle before the vigilante but im not exactly sure why. I dont know much about the other converters.

I have a 3600 vig and have thoroughly enjoyed it since i've had it. I'll be pullin my tranny soon to upgrade and i'm gonna send it back to precision industries(the company that makes vig) and have them turn the stall rpm up and tighten the converter up. I've pulled some high 1.5 60fts with my converter on mt sportsman pros.

I've had the vig 3200 in my car since spring of '02 with no issues. "If it ain't broke, Don't fix it" is my attitude. In 01/02 the others were having issues and I'm not spending $$$ to add problems. My .02

My vig converter is the highest quality conveter I've ever ran and I've ran a bunch of different brands. It's like that Energizer bunny, it just keeps going and going. I'll never buy another Yank. Fuddle is the new kid on the block. Vig has been around for a long time. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but I believe they were the first to offer a converter for the LS1 engined f-bodies.

I have a Vig 3600 and I have some vibrations in mine. I've had it balanced and it was fine for a while but it has come back. I'm now sending it in for a 3600 multi disk. I have cut lots of 1.50 and 1.60 60' times with this stall and it also has a nice punch from roll. I would not think twice about getting another one they are nice converters.
