Default What tranny to use?

Hi guyz.. we are currently building a 408ci LS2 block Motor with solid roller camshaft.. hopefully it will push 550+whp and 500+rwtq.. we are trying to figure out which tranny to use to be reliable.. will a built 4L60E handle that power or do we switch to a built TH350/TH400?

thanks

4l80e and be done. A 4l60e will take those #'s but we all know there reputation. Things break or have to be freshened up with 60's. If your not wanting OD then a 400 or 350 will be fine. Good luck!

If you got the money, a TH400 for what you are building, then it is done right.
