Default TH350 guys, what gears are you running?

I went from a 6 speed to a th 350. I have 4.10s in it still, and it's more gear than what I want...I knew it would be. At about 60mph it turns about 33-3400 rpm. I have my stock 3.42s, and was going to put them back in, just wanted to see what other 3 speed guys were running, and what kind of rpms you are turning at 60 or 70mph. It is not my daily driver, so it's not that big of a deal. But I do want to be able to drive down the freeway at a little bit more decent rpm. Thanks

I'm running 3.50's in a 9"...I wish there were some 3.62 available, would probably be perfect! I think I'm at like 2800 for 60mph, but rarely pay attn: I just flow with traffic, kinda.

I went from M6 to th400. I currently have 3.50 gears but it's too much gear for my car. I'm swapping to 2.75's.

Different when your turbo.

I conveted M6 to TH400 as well and I have 4.10's. I'm gonna leave them for now and see how it does at the track, I think it will be better when I put 28" tires on.

CAT3... Is that w/ the stock size tire? If my 3.42s bring my rpms down below 3000 rpm at 60 or 65 I'll be happy, I'm still running the stock size tire. Maybe I should look into a little taller tire too?

I run 3.73s with a TH400.
60 mph is a little over 3000 rpm.
Its not a daily driver so I don,t mind.
I don,t think I could live with the low performance of a 2.73 though, maybe if I had 800 HP.

Yep stock size 275/40/17's or whatever they are...but stock yes. I think 60 is right about 2750rpms...I rarely do 60, unless I am in a 40 zone.
