It's not so much what it will handle, its being so heavy and tight that you won't be able to fully use your newfound power. Personally, it just plain sucks to drive a big cammed, stock-stalled car.

you will be fighting the rpms needed for the car to stay running when you slow doen for a light. Not only that but you will be way under the meat of the powerband and will bog. The most i would go is a hot cam. Thats it.
