Default transmission yoke replaced?

I had a leak a few weeks ago and the dealer said it was the trans. seal and pinion seal so I got those fixed and now it is leaking again. The mechanic says it is the transmission yoke. Has anyone else had this part replaced? I only have 49,000 on my camaro.

i wouldnt think that it would need to be replaced unless it has some deep scratches... most of the time if there is any rust build up or minor scratcheson the yoke you can take fine sand paper or emory cloth to it... can you post up a picture?

I don't have a picture of it. I took it to the dealer and the mechanic told me the fluid was coming out the vent hole in the yoke and slinging all underneath the car.

Anyone know anything about the slipyoke leaking on these cars? Is there a sleeve that it goes into that could be leaking?

I am afraid maybe something was messed up when they fixed the trans. seal and pinion seal 4 weeks ago. Like the spline or the yoke was damaged. He should have known when he took it out then that something was wrong with it.
