Default big stall or n20 converter

ok guys its time to buy a converter for my car...now i have driven an ls1 with a 3400 stall and loved it but needed more....then i jumped in my friends with an ss4400 and loved how it felt.

now i plan on throwing a tnt 150 shot on the car.....i have read that big stalls and N2o really dont mix too well........so do i bump it down to a 3600 stall and be ok.....4000? or will the 4400 be fine?

its not my daily driver so dont worry....i just love how the big stall hits

I have the vig 3600 on a 150 shot and it works like a charm.I'm very satisfied with the way that it's works.

I think a 3800 stall is a good compromise. Should run well with N20 yet be just big enough for you to enjoy it NA as well.

I'd do that as well.
I'm spraying a custom TCI 4000 w/ a 150 wet hit and it takes it just fine. Can't hook very well, but that's another issue.

either will work fine but the question you need to answer is: Do you want
it to run good both n/a and sprayed or do you want it to run good n/a and
haul a-- on spray. Nitrous produces alot of torque therefore will benefit
more from a smaller stall.

my converter goes to 6000 on the brake, and there's a damn good chance I'll try it with a 125 shot out of the gate next year, at least once

My opinion would be 3500 stall, would function great as a n/a setup
and still be very streetable yet still small enough to maximize your
potential on the juice....

See sig That was on a hot muggy day and it was my 1st time out with the stall on some shot nittos. I realized on the way home I never tried to stall it up and make a pass I was just basically launching off idle, so with some decent conditions, practice and a tune I think I could click off a 12.4 with a cat-back, lid and stall.
