It's a piece of cake. You do not remove the tranny. just jack it up a bit.

On my old Z28 I would break a tranny mount every two weeks or so. I bought one at NAPA with a Lifetime guarranty. On a 1 hour break in between classes I would run by Napa get a new tranny mount go home change it out and then drop back by NAPA to get my refund and still make it to class on time. It is a piece of cake.

None of the parts stores around me carry them anymore, and the dealership wants like $50 for it. So I got a poly one from Thunder for half the price. Poly is soooooo much better.

They seem to have the best price and they have always gotten me my parts quickly. I went with the prothane mount. Energy Suspension also makes one thats available at Autozone for 25$. I've heard of more issues with the energy suspension mount than with the prothane like having to grind down nubs etc....

Thunder Racing is where I got mine. It is Energy Suspension, and it's prothane polyurathane, and it was a direct fit (no nubs to grind, no plates to put in, or leave out) just bolt it in and torque it down. And it feels great.
