Vigilante Triple disk vs Single disk....difference??
Explain to this transmission idiot what the difference is and would the triple disk be needed for a cam-only set-up looking to dip into the high 11s??

What if you're into roll racing? My 80E/383 combo gained 30rwhp and 25rwt when I engaged the lockup under WOT. I don't understand why this wouldn't make a difference late in a run, or even during a mid-range pull on an FI motor.

The advantage in some cases is to allow you to stay in 3rd gear in the 1/4. Meaning if you are running out of RPM's this will allow you to gain some without having to shift in to OD. A gear swap or tire size will help to correct this as well. I myself like the Vig triple or the multi disc. They do lockup very nice on our Dyno. Vince
