My B&M 2800 cooler dropped my temps 20 - 25 degrees under most conditions. I know this because I installed a SW trans temp gauge just before hooking up the cooler.

I wouldnt worry if it is only 150, now 250 and you have a problem.

With a 3600 stall I dropped 20-25 degrees, and with the addition of a 2nd cooler I'm down to about 35 less than with just the stock radiator cooler. With that stall you need to get a good cooler in there, heat is your tranny's worst enemy.

How are you reading that 150?

Not sure what is going on with your ride. My car sees about 160 after driving a while and 150 is pretty cool. Seems like you have something else causing your problems.

According to what is written on my B&M cooler box, your temperatures are just below the threshold where the fluid mutates into varnish. This is the point where component failure is immanent.

I figured it was a typo, 150 is insane with a stall and no cooler. It sounds low for not having a stall Put a good cooler in there ASAP! How long have you been running it like this?

It shouldnt get to 250 on the highway even with a stall cause it should already be locked up...once its locked theres no slip thus no heat created.... are u sure it locking on the highway?

The intake manifold gasket? Spray some carb cleaner around the manifold, if the motor bogs down at a certain spot, that's where the vacuum leak is.
If it's the manifold:
Take off the intake & MAF, fuel rails & injectors, unplug the wire harnesses by the coilpacks, then unfasten the 8bolts on the sides of the manifold, slip the manifold out and visually inspect the gaskets.
