Default 4l80e swap.. Good Price?

I found a 4l80e out of an 02 2500HD with 56,000 miles close to me for $700.. Considering the lower miles would I even need to rebuild this? I know from reading its stronger stock than most built 4l60's... Does $700 sound good to you guys?

About to install the aps kit and want to make about 700-750rwhp.. From what I have read this should be sufficent correct..

Are any of you guys going with the multi disc converters? Probably getting a vig 3600 to go with it.

thanks

Can you drive it?
I got my 1998 4L80E out of a 60,000 mile truck, I couldn't drive it. It ended up not having reverse. I took it apart and replaced only a few bushings, the reverse band and servo pin. Everything else looked new, clutches measured close to new specs.
I'd say $700 is a pretty good deal.

THat sounds like a great deal to me. I just purchased a 4l80e out of a 2001 chevy van and AM NOT rebuilding, im sure itll last for years. THey are a th400 with OD, they should withstand a lot of abuse. I didnt have themoney to get it fully built this year. 48xxxmiles on it. WIth your power i tmight be border line i guess for rebuild...not sure.
I just got a yank 3400 converter.Heavy dut 11inch...think it was an sc3400.
ID BUY IT !
