Question Tranny cooler lines~ how do they connect?

I installed my cooler lines back onto the tranny and the only way I could see they attach is the little plastic clips. Is this correct or are there also some metal clips that go into them? Thanks in advance guys!

Ive had no luck getting them at parts stores. Ive always had to go to the dealership. They are a small c clip looking thing. Might as well get a couple extras while your at it.

They have them in the motormite help section at autozone, etc.
They come in a variety of sizes in one container.
You put the clip on the fitting first then snap the line in, the plastic piece does not hold it in.

I learned something too...I didn't know you could push the line on with the clips pre-installed. Makes sense now that I think about the cone shape of line though
