Default Finally tested my performabuilt 4l80e

Well I finally made it down to the track and ran a new best on a 150 shot 10.759 @ 127.67 1.55 60ft. Im happy that I finally have a trans that shifts on the bigger shot. I only ran once because I want to change my flexplate to an aftermarket tci and I didnt want mine to crack. My previous best with my 4l60e was 10.78 @ 125 with a 1.46 60ft mainly because the tracked was prepped hard it would be great if I could get close to that 1.46 again. I might try to spray the car alittle bit bigger after I get the flexplate in my nozzle tops out at 150hp I believe.

why did you choose the 4l80 over a built 4l60 if you will only be in the 10's? I thought
4l80s were for hardcore cars. Dont get me wrong your car is fast, im just wondering.

Why would I sell the 80e? I figured I would go with something good that should be able to handle anything I can throw it at. I like to run the car at the track and we all know there is a new post about the 4l60e hitting the rev limiter on the 2-3 shift just about everyday. I dont want to sink any more money into 4l60'es that for sure id rather just get an 80e and be done with it especially for how much I like to race.

Haha yea we'll see what happens everyone that was watching said the car doesnt really look like it bangs the drivetrain it comes out fast but it looks smooth. I like to preload on the launches alittle also we'll see what happens I already went a 1.46 60 ft on this 10 bolt.
