Default A4 In the Shop

So yeah when i got the car ..the a4 was still good, but i messed it up..now its getting rebuilt...tranny is already off, what rebuilt kit do u guys recommend should be put in, car is somewhat of a DD tho, i still wanna c the track from time to time, also what shiftkit is good for it, i want one that wont break ur neck when ur just crusing around, but when u WOT for it to break ur back..i do plan on getting a cam and all the good stuff in the future, but i want a tranny that will hold up to its power. thanks

You can look at ours oR any of the sponsors here sites to get and idea of the builds. But in reality it would be your builders call on what to put in the trans, If he does not know what he shOuld be doing as far as kits and parts. Then it would IMO be a serious mistake to have him build it. Not knocking him cause dont know him just IMO.

well he knows what to get, but its either a basic rebuilt or a racing one, anyway what shiftkit would be best

The hd-2 kit from trans go is the one we use.

well the tranny guy called today and told me it already had the kit in it also the corvette servo he said, so woo

well yeah got the car back today...he did a good job he also said its a 700R4 ...is it suppose to come with that tranny???

700's last year was 93'.
